How does what you do shape the American narrative and/or American culture? -Khabr Nazl

"One of the greatest things about America is its diversity of thought and opinion, and the freedom to share those thoughts and opinions.  There have been times where I have been nervous about writing an opposing opinion because public opinion was seemingly already shaped by other pundits, editorialist, or even aggressive Tweeters. However, I’ve expressed opposing views only to later be thanked and supported by people who felt that they couldn’t do so themselves.  Thus, I shape the American narrative by continuing to show that there is no single American narrative. We can and should disagree respectfully. Public opinion, like people themselves, can change and grow as more information is presented and contact with different viewpoints become more common."
